JUNE 2008: RESEARCH FOR THE SECOND BOOK HAS BEGUN

AUGUST 2007 - MAY 2008: WORKING WITH MEDICAID KIDS For this last school year, Kathleen has been working with middle school students through the Medicaid program. The experience has added new meaning to the words, depression prevention. These young people have been exposed to gang life, drugs, prostitution, murder, and poverty by the time they are fourteen. No works have been published but much learning has occurred. Support and affirmation to all those working with these children. By bringing them hope, you practice depression prevention.

JUNE 2006: ARTICLE PUBLISHED "Working with Individuals of Traditional Faiths." Social Work Today, volume 6, number 3, May/June 2006.

FEBRUARY 2006: ARTICLE PUBLISHED "Reflections on Professional Identity." Social Work Today, Volume 6, Number 1, January/February 2006.

JULY 2005: MOVES TO ALBUQUERQUE, NM

MARCH 2005: KATHLEEN HOCKEY WINS SOCIAL WORKER OF THE YEAR AWARD, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS, BLUE MOUNTAIN UNIT IN WASHINGTON STATE. The award was presented March 12th at the Red Lion Hotel, Pasco Washington.
